Blue Green Future, in partnership with indigenous leaders and ocean conservation organisations, is granting personhood on the whale; valuing them at $2 million and protecting them from harm.

The film features interviews from major partners in the momentous initiative, tied together with low frame rate graphics and typographic slates over underwater footage of whales. The footage was provided by SeaLegacy and Whale Seeker.

The project was turned around within a week, alongside a newsroom ready version to be distributed by Associated Press.
